Human Lawyer Podcast: Bobby Robinson

June 30, 2020

To Bobby Robinson, we all have the “instinct to serve, and the skills to succeed. In fact, we have the skills across a number of areas. But we shouldn’t separate those skills; we should integrate them for the future will be written by those who integrate their whole being.” Bobby channels his inner Robert Smith. No, not the former Ohio State and Minnesota Viking running back. The billionaire Robert Smith who donated $34M to the 400 graduating seniors at Morehouse College.

To get to know Bobby, is to understand the evolving journey of discovering one’s whole self as a lawyer and integrating the entirety of your skills to serve your clients, even if serving your clients means building a better mousetrap.

Today, you’ll find Bobby as a Member at Nexsen Pruet, a highly-respected law firm serving the Carolinas with 8 offices in North and South Carolina respectively. Before moving to “big law”, Bobby founded his own boutique law firm serving corporate clients in a variety of ways. Bobby also founded a legal technology company called “IntellyDoc.”
