Kind, compassionate, competent, and delightful, that’s Edna Jones as her clients would say. Edna would say she’s holistic. That’s one of the many things important to her, whether personally or professionally. And the nature of holistic necessarily contemplates making one whole.
In her professional world, she confronts the brokenness of families facing the prospect of divorce or some other life-altering event changing their family, perhaps forever. Her capacity to be holistic likely arises out of her voracious appetite for volunteering. She’s involved in a lot. Too much to list here. But also that’s not really the point of this: we’re not competing with each other to volunteer the most, do the most, be recognized the most. As Edna reminds us, it’s just about being holistic. Whatever that is for you.
