The Human Lawyer Podcast: Laura Gregory

March 2, 2021

To follow Laura Gregory on LinkedIn, is to know #laurahasitcovered. An insurance coverage attorney by day, a bestselling author by night. Laura is also a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, a designation she has held since 1999.

If asked to describe herself, Laura might say that she’s not good at taking compliments, a weakness exposed since her book #Networked has led to new connections and overflowing recognition.

The band keeps playing: Laura is also an elected official, serving a second term on the Town of Andover’s (Massachusetts) policy-making body and appointing authority of the Town Manager, the Town Accountant, the Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Board of Registrars.

What has having outlets outside of her law practice meant to Laura’s human life? When did she get the urge to write a book? What did she learn from that process? And does she miss the Midwest? Those are some topics worth covering if we have time.

the human lawyer is a 501(c)(3) north carolina non-profit corporation. it is not a law firm. it will never be a law firm. it does not offer legal services. it never will. the lawyers featured are completely independent and unaffiliated. they always will be. we focus exclusively on human storytelling through a variety of different mediums. if you are compelled to support: first, thank you; and second, all contributions are tax-deductible in furtherance of our charitable purpose.
