From NOLA to the Queen City, meet Lawrence Wooden. Lawrence dabbles in sports agency to quench his thirst for sports. He’s a football, basketball, and family savant, perhaps not in that order. From a professional perspective, Lawrence has a variety of experiences: managing the finances of a property and casualty insurance company; managing the grant process for the City of New Orleans; and underwriting loans for a large Midwest bank. What’s that mean? If it involves money, Lawrence has probably seen it—public or private sector, you call it.
Lawrence has lived in Charlotte since 2010, so he’s seen some change. What changes excite him the most? What changes are talked about that he’d like to see the city be about? What do his sons think about him being a lawyer? Are they here for it?
