Mark Springfield is an early adopter and by virtue of that a thought-leader. Professionally, you could trace his propensity for early adoption back to his roots at the very beginning (read: founding) of collaborative law in the family context. Drawing from that experience, with no pecuniary interest beyond seeing the practice of law improve, he leveraged himself to help the Uniform Civil Collaborative Law Act get passed, which effectively recognizes collaborative dispute resolution as a viable method to resolve any civil dispute.
