Human Lawyer Podcast: Rhonda Patterson

September 15, 2020

It’s not every day you get to talk with the Queen of Custody, but today is that day. Rhonda Patterson is a double Tar Heel who began her career in Big Law before starting her own firm in 2011. Her primary focus: families. Her clients: corporate execs, entrepreneurs, professional athletes, entertainers, and the like. You name it, she’s seen and represented that type of client.

She has consistently served in leadership capacities at the Mecklenburg County Bar for the last 4 years, which is a testament, if anything, to her juggling skills. As the Queen of Custody, she creates all kinds of novel publications: like the 12 commandments of co-parenting. She’s also been recognized as one of Charlotte’s most influential women. She’s also met Michelle Obama.

For a lawyer who rocks, how does she keep rockin’ it? There’s always new ground to till, and Rhonda is that person with the right garden tool, ready for the job, doing the work, and you never knew she started. Don’t sleep on Rhonda.
